We love summer homes because they’re fun, full of light, joy and fresh design, which is what this project exactly is. Bought as an old house that needed serious renovation, our task was to transform this house into an easy flowing space for a family of 5 with young children. The client’s vision of the house was a cozy natural feel, with an air of “back to the basics” to generate a sensation of warmth and serenity.
With an attempt to keep costs to a minimal, we re-utilized a lot of the elements inherited in the house, we substituted expensive ornaments and art work with more personal touches and commissioned wall art, and we furnished most of the pieces from local brands, and are proud to say that many of those were from our own showroom.
