We built our design philosophy at Shewekar on a rooted and intrinsic appreciation for our heritage. For twenty years our Cairo based studio has connected and found the synergy between contemporary aesthetics, forward thinking functionality and the revival of Egyptian artisanship.

Our award-winning studio is focused on both interiors and furniture design; we interweave origin and purpose to build narrative spaces, to be visual storytellers. Egyptian craft is what inspires us but also what we seek to share with the world, it is our love letter transcribed in design.
