Over the span of six year we designed the interiors and furniture of 7 branches of a popular restaurant chain, which were greatly inspired by the Lebanese way of eating. The Lebanese dining culture highlights sharing food, most popularly mezza, where the dishes feature colorful ingredients that we wanted to brightly reflect in the restaurant interiors. Endless numbers of lanterns were scattered around the space to reflect the richness and generosity of the Lebanese culture. These were matched with staircase handrails (mashrabeyat), colored glass and a wide array of patterned fabrics that brought together a rich, eclectic and indulging experience.
